Weaving a lattice pie crust looks daunting, but it really is easy. Here’s how to do it.
STEP 1: Place three or more pie crust strips horizontally over pie, spacing evenly apart.
STEP 2: Fold back center or alternating strips. Place one strip vertically across first strips.
STEP 3: Unfold folded horizontal strip(s).
STEP 4: Fold back alternating horizontal strips, and place another vertical strip across first strip(s), spacing evenly.
STEP 5: Unfold horizontal folded strips, then fold back center or alternating horizontal strip(s).
STEP 6: Place another vertical strip across first strips, spacing evenly. Unfold horizontal folded strip(s).
