Peach-Sweet Tea Barbecue Sauce
Serves: about 2 cups
 
Ingredients
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 1 small shallot, minced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 1⁄2 cups brewed tea
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1⁄2 cup peach preserves
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 1⁄2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 1⁄2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1⁄4 teaspoon ground black pepper
Instructions
  1. In a medium saucepan, melt butter over medium-high heat. Add shallot and garlic; cook, stirring occasionally, until tender, about 3 minutes. Stir in tea and all remaining ingredients until combined. Bring to a boil; reduce heat to medium. Simmer, stirring occasionally, until thickened, about 30 minutes.
