Honey Garlic Shrimp
 
Makes 4 to 6 servings
Ingredients
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1½ pounds medium fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground ginger
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • ⅓ cup honey
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • Garnish: chopped fresh chives
Instructions
  1. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat. Add shrimp, garlic, salt, ginger, and pepper; cook, stirring occasionally, until shrimp are pink and firm, about 6 minutes. Stir in honey and cornstarch, and cook until thickened, about 1 minute. Garnish with chives, if desired.
  2. Serve with white rice or Butter Crunch Rice (recipe follows).
