1½ pounds medium fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon kosher salt
½ teaspoon ground ginger
½ teaspoon ground black pepper
⅓ cup honey
2 teaspoons cornstarch
Garnish: chopped fresh chives
Instructions
In a large skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat. Add shrimp, garlic, salt, ginger, and pepper; cook, stirring occasionally, until shrimp are pink and firm, about 6 minutes. Stir in honey and cornstarch, and cook until thickened, about 1 minute. Garnish with chives, if desired.
Serve with white rice or Butter Crunch Rice (recipe follows).
